Nasser Maddi (Owner/Artistic Director)
Nasser began dancing at the age of six and has trained /performed with leading teachers/ choreographers, and music artists ever since. He began his career in Europe with The Grooves Dance Company. There, he taught and performed Jazz, Salsa, Hip Hop, Control Dance, Ballroom, and Persian Dance. His experience with The Grooves Dance Co. led to numerous opportunities to travel throughout Europe, perform and choreograph on stage and television. His credits include dancing with popular European singing artists, Ann Lee and Belle Perez. He then choreographed and performed for various Persian singing artists in Germany, including Sayeh.
Nasser also had several television appearances performing on European musical entertainment shows. Nasser performed in corporate events including grand openings for a Chanel Fragrance launch in France, The Columbus Shoe Company, in Spain and ING Insurance Co. in Germany. He spent three years touring with The Bailando Dance Company performing Salsa in Germany, Holland, and France. With over20 years of experience choreographing, teaching, and performing dance, Nasser brought his passion and love for dance to Irvine, California where he opened up his studio with the desire to provide high quality dance training. He is living his dream and sharing his enthusiasm for dance with his students.
Marisol Lara (Belly dance/Hula/Tap)
Her dance training began in 2006 at Pro Dance Center with concentration on Hip hop , Hula , Tahitian, Belly dance , Tap and Jazz . She has been a performer and an instructor with Pro dance since 2008 and currently dances in various productions and festival throughout southern California, most regularly Irvine Global Festival and Soka University International Festival. In 2010 she began studying with Angelika Nemeth to further her belly dance training until 2012 when she went to Mendocino Middle Eastern Dance and Music camp for summer of 2012. Her Tap, Jazz, hula and Tahitian training also took place at Orange Coast College until 2012 when she performed with the Performing Dance Ensemble for the World Dance Concert of 2012. She is currently the Advanced Belly dance instructor as well as the Hula and Tahitian Instructor for both children and adults.
Ashley Nettles (Ballet & point):
Ashley is a recent Theatre Arts, Dance & Music graduate from CSU, Los Angeles with a major in dance. She began dancing at the age of 6 at the Landmark Theatre in Richmond, Virginia and since then has harnessed about 18 years of experience as a performer. She has danced as a member of various dance & drill teams throughout elementary, middle, and high school. Upon graduating from high school she began studying with The Hartfel Ballet Company located in Orange County. From there she added technical variety and a firmer modern dance foundation at San Pedro City Ballet located in San Pedro, CA. where she performed as a company member in The Nutcracker, as well as a prequel to a spring performance at the Laguna Museum of Arts. Along with performances and choreographing at CSULA, she most recently performed at The Young Artist Concert in San Francisco, CA. In the fall she will begin her teaching credential in Adapted Physical Education with an emphasis in dance and will also pursue a Masters of Arts degree in dance upon completion of her credential. She lives and breathes by the quote “Live Life Brilliantly”.
Jessica Kay Panganiban (Contemporary/Jazz/Tap):
She Started dancing and competing at the age of nine at the award winning West Coast School Of the Arts Where she trained in jazz, tap, ballet, and lyrical. At The age of 16 she had the opportunity to train and compete with Joey Tarwater In his company, JET Dance Company. There she was introduced to modern and contemporary dance styles along with opening her eyes as dance, not only being a sport but, being an art form by working within a theatre. She Went back to compete with West Coast Where she finished off her competitive career by winning the title of Miss Showbiz Her senior year. After Graduating high school, she continued her dance education at California State University, Fullerton For two years before deciding to take a different educational route. She continued dancing at Cypress Community College and Fullerton Junior College Where she has done numerous dance concerts and dance related events, as well as design numerous props and sets for various productions. Not Only was she able to be the dancer she was trained to be but, she was able to explore and train in more cultural dances such as Afro--‐Caribbean, Latin Social, Flamenco And Middle Eastern. To further her dance studies, she is taking a variety of classes and workshops in both Orange and Los Angeles Counties. As An advocate of students getting a higher education in dance, Jessica--‐Kay Is currently working with Valerie Cabag’s Vicious Circle Dance Company. In Hopes to instill and broaden the love of dance into young hearts, the company hopes that young students will too seek a higher education in dance. Along With working with Vicious Circle, Jessica Continues to share her love and passion for dance with young minds, by teaching at dance studios all over Orange County. Finishing Her AA in Dance this past spring, Jessica--‐Kay Plans on going back to a university to finish up her BA in Dance In the near future.
Kaitlyn Miller ( Jazz/Contemporary/Combo):
She has lived in Irvine her whole life and has been dancing sense age five. At age nine she began competing and has won many regional and national awards. Kaitlyn fell in love with the style of jazz because it was so high energy and required a lot of technical work. She was on the Irvine High dance assemble for four years, and put on many dance shows and preformed in school pep rallies. During her last year in high school she was co-captain of the team and was offered the opportunity to dance in the New Year’s Day Parade in London. Kaitlyn currently goes to Orange Coast College to study child development. After community college she's hopes to transfer to Concordia University. Kaitlyn loves children and is working on becomes a special education teacher.
